Wealth Accumulation

Managed Portfolios through an LPL Wrap Account

An account in which we, at WealthSprings, utilizing LPL Financial’s robust investment platform, implement and manage an investor’s portfolio for a small percentage charge based on the value of the account quarterly. This fee covers all administrative, commission, and management expenses. Choosing from thousands of investment options, we construct a Strategic Asset Allocation portfolio to match your individual needs, goals, and risk tolerance.

The advantage of a wrap is that it protects you from over-trading. With this approach both the Advisor and the Client share the same desire to grow safely the value of the account. If the account grows, our firm earns additional revenue while having to accept less in the years when the financial markets take back some of the growth we may have accumulated. A traditional wrap typically requires an initial investment of a least a $25,000 or more.

Stocks

When you buy stock in a company, you are buying partial ownership of that company. You can earn a return on your investment both through dividends (a portion of the company’s profits) and through in increase in the price of the shares you own.

Bonds

When you buy bonds what you are really doing is lending money at a certain rate of interest. You may be lending to a business or a government entity. Bonds offer income and can bring stability to a stock portfolio.

529/College Funding

529 plans (named after the section of the tax code that deals with them), offer certain tax advantages to parents (and other relatives) to save for their children’s college education. 529 plans are sponsored by states and some educational institutions. The benefits of these plans include control of the asset by an adult, tax deferred growth and, if used for post-secondary education, the funds withdrawn are tax free.
